The Euro and the Copa America have kicked off, so now we have a month of International Football ahead. I will be cheering for Italy in the Euro.Their opening match was pretty easily won and in style. I’m a neutral for the Laitn American tournament. However it would be nice to see Messi winning a major International Trophy, so there’s that.

The number Tens were part of three excellent goals. Messi scored one of his unstoppable freekicks. Argentina had plenty of chances to win, including Nicolas Gonzalez who should have converted a perfect chipped pass from Messi.

Colombia’s Edwin Cardona was part of a intricate set-piece goal, a routine that has been evidently practised in their training, involving three players. It was aesthetic and neatly done.

Patrik Schick vs Scotland. It was a quick counterattack, to spot the keeper staying well advanced from the goal line and to execute the shot was intelligent, impressive from the Czech.

In other news, Christian Eriksen is recovering. Yaay !
Over to the upcoming matches, including France v Germany later tonight.
